The invention belongs to the technical field of steel wire rope locking, and particularly discloses a self-locking type rapid rope lifting device. The self-locking type rapid rope lifting device comprises a base, a motor arranged on the base, a speed reducer connected with an output shaft of the motor, and a driving wheel connected with an output shaft of the speed reducer. A coupler is further arranged between the motor and the speed reducer and provided with a brake device. The base is further provided with a driven wheel support. The driven wheel support is provided with a driven wheel opposite to the driving wheel. The driven wheel support is further provided with a locking mechanism. According to the device, the self-locking performance and the characteristics of small-power input andlarge-torque output of the worm and gear speed reducer are fully utilized, and the using requirement can be met through the small-power motor; when the motor is suddenly powered off or paused for work, due to the self-locking performance of a worm and gear, a steel wire rope cannot automatically fall; and the brake device of the device can be immediately stopped after lifting is finished, accurate lifting is achieved, and meanwhile, double insurance is formed through the brake device and the self-locking performance of the device, and the steel wire rope is effectively prevented from automatically falling.
