The invention discloses an extended-range complete vehicle fuel-saving optimization method, which comprises the following steps of selecting a motor according to parameters, so that the selected motormeets the maximum torque requirement required by full load; selecting a generator, and selecting the generator with the same parameters as the motor, wherein the generator parameters are the same asthe motor parameters; matching the power generator with the engine, mechanically connecting the power generator with the engine, and enabling the power generator and the engine to work in the highestefficiency interval through a speed increasing structure; aiming at different working conditions, according to required parameters, adjusting and determining a charging mode for charging a power battery by a charging system consisting of the engine and the generator point by point; the power generation efficiency of the power generation system can be improved, meanwhile, the requirement that an engine and a power generator both work in the most economical and most efficient area is met, the fuel consumption rate is reduced, the economic performance index is improved, and environmental pollution caused by emission and the like is reduced.
