The invention provides a bicycle with a novel transmission structure. The invention relates to the bicycle adopting a special transmission structure and capable of being stepped up and down. The bicycle mainly comprises a bicycle frame 1, chain rods 2, 3 and 4, foot bars 5 and 6, a limiting shaft 7, a sleeve 9, a rear shaft 10, one-way bearings 11, chain wheels 12 and 13 and a foot bar shaft 14, the chain rods are formed by connecting groove rods 17 and chains 16 arranged in the groove rods through pin shafts 18, two chain wheels 12 and 13 are connected with the sleeve 9 side by side through one-way bearings 11 respectively, and the sleeve 9 is connected with the rear shaft and a rear wheel. The lower ends of the chain rods 2 and 3 are hinged to the left side and the right side of the middle of the foot bar 6 respectively, the lower end of the chain rod 4 is hinged to the right side of the foot bar 5, a chain in the chain rod 2 is meshed with the chain wheel 13 on the rear side of therear shaft 10, a chain in the chain rod 3 is meshed with the chain wheel 12 on the front side of the rear shaft 10, a chain in the chain rod 4 is meshed with the chain wheel 13 on the front side of the rear shaft 10, and the chain rod 2, the chain rod 3 and the chain rod 4 are limited through the limiting shaft 7 fixed on the bicycle frame 1.
