The invention discloses a method for prolonging standing use duration of a storage battery of a fuel vehicle, which comprises the following steps of: (1) entering a storage battery setting interface of an intelligent equipment app, selecting a power saving mode, and setting appointment starting time and appointment closing time in the power saving mode interface; after the setting is finished, prompting the influence after the power saving mode is started and whether to confirm to start the power saving mode, and if yes, executing the step (S2); wherein after the power-saving mode is selected,displaying the predicted extension time of the storage battery in the power-saving mode interface; and (2) uploading and storing a background application closing instruction set in the power saving mode to a cloud end, issuing the set background application closing instruction to a vehicle end control module by the cloud end, judging whether to start the vehicle or not by the vehicle end controlmodule before the appointment starting time is up, and executing the background application closing instruction if the vehicle is not started.
