The invention discloses a vertical conveyor which is used for reducing the failure rate of the vertical conveyor. The vertical conveyor comprises a material box assembly, a rack, a base assembly, a bearing, a power rotating shaft and a gear, wherein the rack is fixedly connected with the material box assembly, and the rack extends in the vertical direction; the bearing is arranged on the base assembly, and the power rotating shaft is fixedly connected with an inner ring of the bearing and extends in the horizontal direction; and the gear is connected with the power rotating shaft, the gear andthe power rotating shaft are in coaxial linkage, and the gear is meshed with the rack. Thus, the gravity of the material box assembly is transmitted to the power rotating shaft through the rack and the gear which are meshed, the gravity of the material box assembly is transmitted to the bearing from the power rotating shaft, the bearing is arranged on the base assembly, the base assembly can bearthe gravity of the material box assembly, and the gravity of the material box assembly is prevented from being transmitted to a power mechanism which is easily damaged through the power rotating shaft, so that the failure rate of the vertical conveyor is reduced.
