The invention relates to a folding mast for an unmanned ship. The folding mast comprises a left base, a right base, a left hydraulic cylinder, a right hydraulic cylinder and a door-shaped mast frame,wherein the left base and the right base are symmetrically and fixedly mounted on a ship body, and the front end of the bottom of the door-shaped mast frame is separately in hinged connection to the left base and the right base; the two ends of the left hydraulic cylinder are respectively hinged with the left base and the left part of the door-shaped mast frame; two ends of the right hydraulic cylinder are respectively hinged with the right base and the right part of the door-shaped mast frame; when cylinder rods of the two hydraulic cylinders are in a retraction state, the bottom surface of the door-shaped mast frame is in contact with the upper end surface of the left base and the upper end surface of the right base, so that the door-shaped mast frame is in a lifting position; and when cylinder rods of the two hydraulic cylinders are in an extending state, the door-shaped mast frame rotates by a certain angle around a hinge shaft of the two bases, and the door-shaped mast frame is ina put-down position. The mast is put down and lifted through the hydraulic cylinders, so that remote control can be achieved without manual intervention and the function requirements of the unmannedship is better are met better.
