The invention discloses a multi-information fusion adaptive cruise control system and a multi-information fusion adaptive cruise control method. A camera acquires images to identify the road speed limit of a current road section; a millimeter-wave radar detects and obtains the relative distance and the relative speed between a current vehicle and a front target vehicle; a positioning system detects the current position of the current vehicle, and obtains the road curvature; a driving control instrument collects the current speed of the current vehicle; and a self-adaptive cruise controller receives the road speed limit information to determine the road speed limit of the current vehicle in the current position, performs calculation according to the current speed of the current vehicle to obtain an expected vehicle distance, and performs adaptive cruise control according to the expected vehicle distance, the absolute speed, the relative distance and the lane speed limit so as to controlthe vehicle speed of the current vehicle. The adaptive cruise control is fused with information such as the camera, the millimeter-wave radar, a map and a positioning system, a driver is assisted todrive within a proper speed range, and the road traffic safety is improved.

    本发明公开了一种多信息融合的自适应巡航控制系统及方法。摄像头采集图像识别当前路段道路限速;毫米波雷达检测获得当前车辆和前方目标车辆间的相对距离和相对速度;定位系统检测当前车辆的当前位置,并获得道路曲率;行车控制仪采集当前车辆的当前速度;自适应巡航控制器接收道路速度限制信息确定当前车辆的当前位置下的道路限速,根据当前车辆的当前速度计算获得期望保持的车间距,根据期望保持的车间距、绝对速度、相对距离、车道速度限制进行自适应巡航控制,控制当前车辆的车速。本发明的自适应巡航控制融合摄像头、毫米波雷达、地图、定位系统等信息,辅助驾驶员在合适的速度范围内进行行驶,提高道路交通安全性。
