The invention belongs to the technical field of aircrafts, and particularly discloses a vertical take-off and landing aircraft which comprises an aircraft body; front wings are arranged on the front portion of the aircraft body in a bilateral symmetry mode; rear wings are arranged on the rear portion of the aircraft body in a bilateral symmetry mode; a left power assembly and a right power assembly are arranged in the middle of the aircraft body, are symmetrically arranged with the aircraft body as the center axis and connected through a main beam; the main beam penetrates through the middle of the aircraft body; and each of the left power assembly and the right power assembly comprises two propellers and a power shaft. The vertical take-off and landing aircraft is provided with the two power assemblies to improve the efficiency of an aircraft power system. The vertical take-off and landing aircraft is provided with the front wings and the rear wings, so that the aerodynamic center ofthe whole aircraft is located between the front wings and the rear wings, and the control requirement that the gravity center coincides with the center of a power shaft in the vertical take-off and landing aircraft is met. The invention further discloses a control mode of the vertical take-off and landing aircraft. The control mode comprises roll control, yaw control and pitch control.
