The invention discloses an accelerator control device for a vehicle. The device comprises an air pocket, an air accelerator and an accelerator air cylinder. The air accelerator comprises an accelerator pedal, and an air inlet P of the air accelerator is communicated with the air pocket; the device further comprises a centrifugal control mechanism, a maneuvering reversing valve and an installationframe. The centrifugal control mechanism comprises a connecting ring, a spring and a centrifugal block; the connecting ring is provided with a radial sliding groove, the centrifugal block is connectedinto the sliding groove of the connecting ring in a sliding mode, one end of the spring is fixedly connected to the portion, at the radial inner end of the sliding groove, of the connecting ring, andthe other end of the spring is connected to the centrifugal block outwards in the radial direction. The maneuvering reversing valve is fixedly connected to the installation frame, a roller of the maneuvering reversing valve makes contact with or is separated from the centrifugal block, an air inlet P of the maneuvering reversing valve is communicated with an execution opening A of the air accelerator, and an execution opening A of the maneuvering reversing valve 2 is communicated with a rod cavity of the accelerator air cylinder. The accelerator can be automatically cut off when the vehicle is overspeed.
