The invention discloses a battery thermal runaway monitoring method, which comprises the following steps that: when a battery management system is in a dormant state, a pressure monitoring and awakening module monitors the opening and closing of a pressure valve; wherein the pressure valve is used for being opened when the internal pressure of the closed environment where the battery module is located is larger than a preset pressure threshold value; and when it is monitored that the pressure valve is opened, the pressure monitoring and awakening module sends an awakening signal to the batterymanagement system so as to awaken the battery management system to carry out thermal runaway early warning operation. The invention also discloses a battery thermal runaway monitoring device, a battery thermal runaway monitoring system and a vehicle. By adopting the method of the invention, the thermal runaway of the battery can be effectively monitored when the battery management system is in the dormant state.
