The invention discloses an overhead line unmanned aerial vehicle electricity testing method and device. The electricity testing method mainly realizes accurate control of the flight direction (nose positioning algorithm) and flight distance of the unmanned aerial vehicle and safe distance maintenance in the electricity testing process through automatic distance measurement and calculation, and realizes an electricity testing function. According to the invention, the structure and the function of the unmanned aerial vehicle electricity testing device are constructed, the unmanned aerial vehicle safetydistance maintaining technology is overcome, and one-key operation of electricity testing operation is achieved.
