The invention provides a rack gear-sector pair with a variable transmission clearance characteristic and an automobile steering gear. According to the rack gear-sector pair, an intermediate tooth meshing clearance of a gear-sector and a rack function part corresponding to the intermediate meshing position of the steering gear is 0, with a gear face meshing line with the intermediate tooth meshingclearance of the rack function part being 0 as a datum, tooth shapes of rack intermediate teeth are modified symmetrically to two sides based on original shapes, and a transmission clearance is gradually increased to a fixed value correspondingly. The automobile steering gear adopts the rack gear-sector pair, in order to achieve the variable transmission clearance characteristic, the racks of therack gear-sector pair (the rack functional part, the gear-sector) of the automobile steering gear are modified and the tooth shapes of the rack intermediate teeth are modified symmetrically to two sides based on the original shapes, the transmission clearance is gradually increased to the fixed value correspondingly, and a rack tooth shape correction method is adopted to obtain an idea variable transmission clearance characteristic curve.

    本发明提出了一种具有变传动间隙特性的齿条齿扇副及汽车转向器。所述齿条齿扇副,对应于转向器中间啮合位置齿扇与齿条功能部的中间齿啮合间隙为0,以齿条功能部的中间齿的啮合间隙为0的齿面啮合线为基准,对齿条中间齿的齿形在原有形状上向两侧进行对称修形,传动间隙相应地逐渐增加到某一固定值。所述汽车转向器采用该齿条齿扇副。本发明为了实现变传动间隙特性,对汽车转向器的齿条齿扇副(齿条功能部、齿扇)的齿条进行修形对齿条中间齿的齿形在原有形状上向两侧进行对称修形,传动间隙相应地逐渐增加到某一固定值,采用齿条齿形修正法能获得的理想的变传动间隙特性曲线。
