The invention relates to a variable-transmission-ratio steering gear rack-and-pinion pair. The variable-transmission-ratio steering gear rack-and-pinion pair comprises a variable-pitch rack and a gearwhich are meshed with each other, a row of meshing teeth are arranged on the variable-pitch rack, and each meshing tooth comprises a low-transmission-ratio section, a high-transmission-ratio sectionand a transition section; the transition section is arranged between the high-transmission-ratio section and the low-transmission-ratio section, in the high-transmission-ratio section, the tooth groove included angle ranges from 70 degrees to 82 degrees, and in the low-transmission-ratio section, the tooth groove included angle ranges from 35 degrees to 45 degrees; and, by adjusting the included angle distribution of the tooth grooves in the variable-pitch rack, the pitch line position of the rack is changed, and then the transmission ratio between the gear and the variable-pitch rack is changed in the meshing transmission process of the gear on the variable-pitch rack. Compared with the prior art, the steering gear is simple in structure, the personalized steering driving style of a vehicle becomes possible through the variable-transmission-ratio gear and rack pair, and coordination and unification of driving comfort and functionality of the steering gear on high-speed driving and low-speed driving are achieved.

    本发明涉及一种变传动比转向器齿轮齿条副,包括相互啮合的变节距齿条以及齿轮,其中变节距齿条上设有一排啮合齿,该啮合齿包括低传动比段、高传动比段以及过渡段;其中过渡段设于高传动比段与低传动比段之间,高传动比段中,齿槽夹角为70‑82°,低传动比段中,齿槽夹角为35‑45°;通过调整变节距齿条上齿槽夹角分布,从而改变齿条节线位置,进而使得齿轮在变节距齿条上的啮合传动过程中,两者之间的传动比发生变化。与现有技术相比,本发明结构简单,通过变传动比齿轮齿条副使得车辆个性化转向驾驶风格变得可能,并实现转向器在高速驾驶与低速驾驶上,驾驶舒适性与功能性的协调统一。
