The invention discloses an ocean platform and a draught reading method of the ocean platform. The ocean platform comprises a platform body and a draught reading device, the draught reading device is located in the platform body and comprises a pipeline, the upper end of the pipeline is open, the lower end of the pipeline is communicated with a seawater door of the platform body, the pipeline is provided with a first pipeline section, the first pipeline section is located above the seawater door, and the first pipeline section is a transparent pipe. By utilizing the principle of a communicatingvessel, seawater is introduced into the transparent pipeline through the seawater door which is arranged on the ocean platform and can be communicated to the outside sea level, so that the purpose ofobserving the draught height in the ocean platform is achieved, the working risk of measuring personnel is reduced, the measuring precision is improved, and meanwhile, the equipment is convenient andfast to install.
