The invention relates to a traffic monitoring method and a traffic monitoring system. The method comprises the following steps: S1, collecting video information of a road through a camera; S2, performing multi-target detection and identification on the video information acquired in the step S1 to detect vehicles and pedestrians in the video; S3, performing tracking and trajectory analysis on the multiple targets detected and identified in the step S2; and S4, according to the multi-target tracking and trajectory analysis result in the step S3, obtaining the speed and acceleration of the target, judging whether a traffic collision accident occurs or not, and if the traffic collision accident is judged to occur, automatically carrying out alarm processing. Video collection is standardized, and video sources can be effectively managed; automatic analysis of video structuralization is established, and post-event retrieval depending on manpower is liberated; and compared with an existing traditional target detection algorithm, the traffic monitoring method and the traffic monitoring system are high in detection precision and good in effect; and multi-stream video structural analysis canbe input at the same time, and results can be output.

    本发明涉及一种交通监控方法及交通监控系统,该方法包括如下步骤:S1,通过摄像头采集道路的视频信息;S2,对步骤S1中采集到的视频信息进行多目标的检测识别,以检测出视频中的车辆和行人;S3,对步骤S2中检测识别到的多目标进行跟踪与轨迹分析;S4,根据步骤S3中的多目标跟踪与轨迹分析的结果,得到目标的速度与加速度,并判断是否发生交通碰撞事故,若判断发生了交通碰撞事故,则自动进行报警处理。本发明规范了视频采集,能够有效管理视频源;建立了视频结构化的自动分析,解放了依托人力的事后调阅;相对于现有传统的目标检测算法,其检测精度高,效果好;能够同时输入多流视频结构化分析并输出结果。
