The invention relates to a method for detecting a vehicle and surrounding obstacles by fusing a roadside laser radar and a video. According to the invention, roadside equipment is used for broadcasting road detection information to all motor vehicles, all the motor vehicles located in a target area share a high-harness laser radar, all the motor vehicles can utilize the laser radar to replace laser radars which should be originally installed on the motor vehicles, and the cost of roadside equipment containing the laser radar does not need to be borne by users of the motor vehicles. After the scheme is adopted, a motor vehicle does not need to be provided with any equipment similar to the laser radar, positioning of the vehicle and surrounding vehicles can be achieved by recognizing and matching license plate numbers, so that the vehicle refitting cost can be greatly reduced, meanwhile, equipment like arithmetic equipment used for achieving automatic driving can be guaranteed to acquireaccurate data, and the automatic driving function is achieved.
本发明涉及一种融合路侧激光雷达和视频实现车辆和周边障碍物探知方法。本发明利用路侧设备向所有机动车辆广播道路的探测信息,位于目标区域的所有机动车辆共享一个高线束的激光雷达,所有机动车辆都可以利用该激光雷达来替代原本应该安装在机动车辆上的激光雷达,而包含有激光雷达的路侧设备的费用无需机动车辆的用户来承担。采用上述方案后,机动车辆可以不用安装任何与激光雷达相类似的设备,通过对车牌号码的识、匹配就可以实现自我车辆及周边车辆的定位,从而可以大幅降低车辆改装成本,同时,又可以确保例如运算设备之类的用于实现自动驾驶的设备可以获得准确的数据,实现自动驾驶功能。
