The invention relates to a steel wire rubber coating and a tire bead using the same. The steel wire rubber coating comprises the following raw materials in parts by mass: 100-130 parts of rubber, 2-4parts of white carbon black, 3-6 parts of carbon black, 0.2-0.5 part of lignite wax, 0.5-1 part of sulfur, 1-3 parts of zinc oxide, 2-4 parts of an anti-aging agent, 4-6 parts of phenolic resin and 3-6 parts of tire pyrolysis oil. According to the invention, the modified carbon black is used as an additive in the tire, and the phenolic resin and the tire pyrolysis oil are used as auxiliary materials, so that the contact microscopic softness of the whole rubber coating is improved to a certain extent, but the rigidity of the whole structure is not reduced, and the rubber coating has better compatibility with the steel wire and is not easy to generate adverse effects such as structural damage caused by partial separation.
