The invention provides a sealing device of a pod thruster, and belongs to the technical field of ship propulsion. The sealing device comprises a sealed cabin, a sealing assembly, a push cylinder and asleeve; a first mounting hole and a second mounting hole for mounting a propeller shaft of the pod propeller are formed in the cabin wall of the sealed cabin; the push cylinder is coaxially insertedinto the first mounting hole; and the first end of the push cylinder is located in the sealed cabin; the sealing assembly comprises a connecting ring and two sealing pieces; the outer walls of the sealing pieces are attached to the inner wall of the push cylinder; first sealing rings are arranged on the inner walls of the sealing pieces; the two sealing pieces are coaxially connected to the two sides of the sealing ring; one of the two sealing pieces is coaxially located in the push cylinder and attached to the push cylinder; and the connecting ring is connected with the push cylinder; the connecting ring and the two sealing pieces are coaxially arranged on the sleeve in a sleeving mode; a first section is arranged on the outer wall of the sleeve; the sealing pieces located outside the push cylinder are connected to the first section in a sleeving mode; and the first section is in sealing fit with the first sealing rings. The sealing device can reduce the maintenance frequency and costof the pod propeller.
