A thermosiphon cooling device for a vehicle, said device comprising: an evaporator (13) having an evaporation unit (131) for absorbing heat from a vehicle-mounted device (11) into a refrigerant and evaporating the refrigerant; a gas pipe (15) though which the refrigerant evaporated in the evaporation unit (131) flows; a condenser (14, 24) having a condensation unit (140, 240) for causing the refrigerant flowing in the gas pipe (15) to dissipate heat, thereby condensing the refrigerant; and a liquid pipe (16) for guiding the refrigerant condensed by the condensation unit (140, 240) to the evaporator (13). The evaporator (13), gas pipe (15), liquid pipe (16), and condenser (14, 24) are configured such that and the refrigerant is charged therein such that an evaporator-side volume V1, which is the volume of a region among the evaporator (13) and the gas pipe (15) that is above the lower end of the evaporation unit (131) and below the liquid level when not in operation, is greater than a condenser-side volume V2, which is the volume of a region among the liquid pipe (16) and the condenser (14, 24) that is above the liquid level when not in operation and below the lower end of the condensation unit (140, 240).
