The invention discloses a working method of a multi-section double-layer thin-wall energy absorption device. The energy absorption device comprises an outer-layer thin-wall energy absorption structureand an inner-layer thin-wall energy absorption structure, wherein the outer-layer thin-wall energy absorption structure is of a spiral curved surface structure; the inner-layer thin-wall energy absorption structure is composed of an inner-layer upper thin-wall structure, an inner-layer middle thin-wall structure and an inner-layer lower thin-wall structure; and the outer-layer thin-wall energy absorption structure and the inner-layer thin-wall energy absorption structure share the upper end face and the lower end face. In the collision process, the inner-layer upper thin-wall structure of theinner-layer thin-wall energy absorption structure is compressed and deformed firstly to achieve first-stage buffering; then the inner-layer middle thin-wall structure is compressed and deformed to achieve second-stage buffering; the inner-layer lower thin-wall structure is finally compressed and deformed to achieve third-stage buffering. By means of cooperative buffering of the inner-layer thin-wall energy absorption structure and the outer-layer thin-wall energy absorption structure and the multi-stage buffering effect of the inner-layer thin-wall energy absorption structure, specific energyabsorption of the energy absorption device can be improved, the initial peak force of the energy absorption device can be reduced, and thus the energy absorption device has good buffering performance.

    本发明公开了一种多段式双层薄壁吸能装置的工作方法,所述吸能装置包括外层薄壁吸能结构和内层薄壁吸能结构;外层薄壁吸能结构为螺旋状曲面结构;内层薄壁吸能结构由内层上薄壁结构、内层中间薄壁结构和内层下薄壁结构组成;外层薄壁吸能结构与内层薄壁吸能结构共用上端面与下端面;在碰撞过程中,内层薄壁吸能结构的内层上薄壁结构先行被压缩变形,实现一级缓冲;内层中间薄壁结构随后被压缩变形,实现二级缓冲;内层下薄壁结构最后被压缩变形,实现三级缓冲;通过内、外两层薄壁吸能结构的协同缓冲以及内层薄壁吸能结构的多级缓冲作用不但能提高吸能装置的比吸能,还能降低吸能装置的初始峰值力,从而使吸能装置具备良好的缓冲性能。
