The invention relates to the technical field of automobile safety, and discloses a gradient dot matrix filling thin-wall energy absorption device which comprises a pipe body. The energy absorption assembly comprises a plurality of dot matrix layers, the dot matrix layers are embedded in the pipe body in the axial direction, and every two adjacent dot matrix layers are fixedly connected; the dot matrix layer comprises a first unit cell body, a plurality of second unit cell bodies and a plurality of third unit cell bodies, the first unit cell body is located on the axis of the tube body, and the number of the second unit cell bodies is consistent with that of the third unit cell bodies; the multiple second unit cell bodies and the multiple third unit cell bodies are fixedly connected to the outer ring of the first unit cell body in the circumferential direction at equal intervals, the multiple second unit cell bodies and the multiple third unit cell bodies are arranged in a staggered mode, and every two adjacent second unit cell bodies and every two adjacent third unit cell bodies are fixedly connected; and the two connecting rods are respectively embedded in the inner wall of the pipe body. According to the gradient mode, more wrinkles are obtained through interaction with the pipe body, and therefore the excellent crashproof performance is achieved.
