Each arresting module is structurally composed of a sleeve type guide mechanism, a winch type main arresting cable winding and unwinding damping driving mechanism, a hydraulic jacking mechanism and an intelligent controller. The winch type main arresting cable winding and unwinding damping driving mechanism, the hydraulic jacking mechanism and the intelligent controller are arranged in the sleeve type guide mechanism; the two arresting modules form a group and are embedded in pits reserved in the left side and the right side of an aircraft carrier deck arresting runway respectively, and a speedand distance measuring sensor is arranged on the arresting runway and is connected with the intelligent controller through a data line. Due to the fact that a arresting cable active hook searching technology is adopted, an arresting cable can automatically adjust the height of the arresting cable according to the shipboard aircraft landing speed and height to actively cater to shipboard aircraft tail hook hooking, so precise butt joint of the arresting cable and the shipboard aircraft tail hook is achieved, the arresting and shipboard aircraft landing success rate is greatly increased, and theshipboard aircraft landing risk is reduced.
