The invention relates to a towed vehicle basic principle mechanism with a steering axle and a non-steering axle being parallel during steering. The towed vehicle basic principle mechanism is characterized by comprising the following steps a front side trailer body frame, a towed trailer body frame, a steering axle assembly, a universal shaft assembly and a non-steering axle assembly; four pairs ofwheels are symmetrically and movably connected to the two sides of the towed vehicle body frame from front to back; the universal shaft assembly is mounted in the front side of the towed vehicle bodyframe; the steering axle assembly and the non-steering axle assembly are installed on the vehicle body frame and connected with the corresponding wheels at the two sides; and the universal shaft assembly is connected to the middle of the steering axle assembly via a push rod assembly. The mechanism is reasonable in design, the problem that a steering axle and a rear axle of a towed vehicle cannotbe parallel to each other when the towed vehicle steers is solved, and the driving safety and stability of the towed vehicle are improved.
