An installation method of an automatic anti-dazzling rearview mirror comprises the following steps: an anti-dazzling lens internally provided with an electrochromic liquid is manufactured; the anti-dazzling lens is installed on a support, and a light sensor capable of sending signals to a circuit control board when strong light on the anti-dazzling lens is detected and a circuit control board capable of controlling and changing the reflectivity of the anti-dazzling lens according to the signals of the light sensor are connected with the support; the light sensor is connected with the circuit control board through a circuit; the circuit control board is arranged in a control box; the control box is fixed on a windshield behind the support; and the circuit control board is connected with theelectrode body of the anti-dazzling lens through a lead penetrating through the control box and the support. The installation method has the following advantages: the circuit control board which originally needs to be installed in the rearview mirror shell is moved into and placed in the control box, so that the thickness of the rearview mirror is reduced, the rearview mirror is light, and the appearance of the rearview mirror is attractive.
