The invention relates to a motor vehicle fastening system (1) for fastening a first motor vehicle component (2) to a second motor vehicle component (3) by means of a fastening device (4). Said fastening device comprises a bolt element (5), a screw-on element (14) and a tolerance compensation element (16). The bolt element (5) is connected to the second motor vehicle component (3) in a rotationallyfixed manner by screwing the bolt element (5) into the second motor vehicle component (3) up to a contact surface (12) formed on the bolt element (5). The tolerance element (16) is screwed onto the bolt element (5) and also is supported against the first motor vehicle component (2) in such a way that the tolerance element can be moved relative to the first motor vehicle component (2) along a first axis (17) and a second axis (18). A screw-on element (14) is arranged on a side surface of the first motor vehicle component (2) facing away from the second motor vehicle component (3) and is screwed onto the bolt element (5). Furthermore, a spacing element (23) is arranged between the first motor vehicle component (2) and the second motor vehicle component (3), by means of which spacing elementthe first motor vehicle component (2) is arranged at a predefined distance from the second motor vehicle component (3) when the screw-on element (14) loads the first motor vehicle component (2) against the second motor vehicle component (3) via the spacing element (23).
