The invention discloses a height adjusting device for an obstacle-crossing electric rescue vehicle. The height adjusting device is characterized in that mechanical arms are driven to rotate through asteering motor so as to drive wheels to steer and realize adjustment of the direction of the vehicle. The two mechanical arms are driven by a rotating motor to rotate relatively and can be matched with the steering motor, the mechanical arms and the wheels extend out of the vehicle body, the vehicle can run and cross obstacles, and the height of the vehicle frame relative to the wheels is increased; the wheels are driven by hub motors to rotate, so self-walking advancing of the wheels is achieved, and the moving speed and rescue efficiency of the rescue vehicle are effectively improved. The invention further discloses the obstacle-crossing electric rescue vehicle, and rescue efficiency of the rescue vehicle is improved by installing a height adjusting device.
