The invention discloses a variable lane adaptive control method based on traffic demands. The method comprises steps of comparing vehicle passing license plates according to real-time vehicle passingdata, and calculating the delay time from an upstream intersection to a variable lane entrance; comparing average traffic demands of a left-turn lane and a straight lane in a current lane state according to the delay time, further predicting the average demands of the left-turn lane and the straight lane after the lane state is switched so as to judge whether a variable lane needs to be switched for steering or not, and issuing a transition timing scheme in a matched manner if the variable lane needs to be switched for steering. The method is advantaged in that the method actively adapts to the road traffic development with variable traffic flow characteristics, so benefits of the variable guide lanes are fully exerted, and the left-turn or straight-going supersaturated congestion at the peak period of the intersection is effectively relieved.

    本发明公开了一种基于交通需求的可变车道自适应控制方法,根据实时的过车数据,比对过车车牌,计算上游路口至可变车道进口的延误时间。根据延误时间对比当前车道状态下的左转和直行的车道平均交通需求,进而预测车道状态切换后的左转和直行的车道平均需求,以此判断可变车道是否需要切换转向,若切换则配合下发过渡配时方案。本发明具有主动适应交通流特性多变的道路交通发展,使可变导向车道的效益得到充分发挥,有效缓解交叉口高峰时段的左转或直行的过饱和拥堵的特点。
