The invention discloses a rotary inertia protection system for a tower crane and the tower crane. The rotary inertia protection system comprises an attitude sensor, a controller and a frequency converter, wherein the attitude sensor is arranged on a balance arm of the tower crane, the attitude sensor is connected with the controller, the controller is connected with the frequency converter, and the frequency converter is used for providing three-phase alternating current for a rotary motor of the tower crane. The attitude sensor is used for collecting the instantaneous speed of the balance armof the tower crane and sending the instantaneous speed of the balance arm of the tower crane to the controller; when the rotary motor of the tower crane enters a stable working state, the controlleris used for comparing the received instantaneous speed of the balance arm of the tower crane with a preset speed threshold value, and if the instantaneous speed of the balance arm of the tower crane is less than or equal to the preset speed threshold value, the controller controls the frequency converter to stop supplying three-phase alternating current to the rotary motor of the tower crane; andif the instantaneous speed of the balance arm of the tower crane is greater than the preset speed threshold value, the frequency converter continues to provide three-phase alternating current for therotary motor of the tower crane. A tower crane jib can be prevented from being damaged due to overlarge moment of inertia in the rotary operation.
本发明公开了一种用于塔机的转动惯量保护系统及塔机,包括姿态传感器、控制器和变频器,姿态传感器设置在塔机平衡臂上,姿态传感器与控制器连接,控制器与变频器连接,变频器用于给塔机的回转电机提供三相交流电;姿态传感器用于采集塔机平衡臂的瞬时速度,并将塔机平衡臂的瞬时速度发送给控制器;当塔机的回转电机进入稳定工作状态时,控制器用于将接收的塔机平衡臂的瞬时速度与预设的速度阈值进行比较,若塔机平衡臂的瞬时速度小于等于预设的速度阈值时,控制器控制变频器停止向塔机的回转电机提供三相交流电;若塔机平衡臂的瞬时速度大于预设的速度阈值时,变频器继续向塔机的回转电机提供三相交流电。本发明能避免塔机起重臂本身在回转运行中因转动惯量过大而受到损伤。
