The invention discloses a railway vehicle traction and braking system and method. The method is based on the system. The system comprises a motor which rotates and generates torque to provide tractionforce for traction of a railway vehicle and rotates and generates torque to provide braking force for braking of the railway vehicle, a position sensor which is installed on a motor shaft, has a signal end connected with a traction converter and is used for collecting position information of the motor and transmitting the position information to the traction converter, and the traction converterwhich is connected with a power supply, the motor and the position sensor and is used for outputting a three-phase power supply after being connected to a main power supply for adjustment, receiving the position information of the motor acquired by the position sensor, calculating the rotating speed and the acceleration of the motor according to the position information of the motor, calculating the rotating speed of the magnetic field according to the rotating speed of the motor, the slip ratio corresponding to the current working condition of the motor and the target torque, and adjusting the current, voltage and frequency of the output three-phase power supply according to the rotating speed of the magnetic field and the target torque to enable the motor to generate stable and controllable braking torque at low speed and zero speed.

    本发明公开了一种轨道车辆牵引及制动系统及方法,该方法基于该系统,电机,转动并产生扭矩提供轨道车辆牵引的牵引力;转动并产生扭矩提供轨道车辆制动的制动力;位置传感器,安装在电机轴上,信号端与牵引变流器连接,采集电机的位置信息并传输到牵引变流器;牵引变流器,与电源、电机和位置传感器连接,接入主动力电源进行调节后输出三相电源,接收位置传感器采集的电机的位置信息,根据电机的位置信息计算电机的转速以及加速度;根据电机的转速、电机当前工况对应的转差率以及目标扭矩,计算得到磁场旋转速度,根据磁场旋转速度及目标扭矩调节输出的三相电源的电流、电压和频率,使得电机能够在低速及零速时产生稳定可控的制动扭矩。
