The invention discloses a video-based intersection area traffic parameter statistics method. The method comprises five main stages of vehicle detection, user demand judgment, online traffic parameterstatistics, offline traffic parameter statistics, information sending and redundant information deletion. According to the invention, the traffic parameter statistical data from the video and based onthe cellular transmission model can be provided according to different online and offline requirements of the user. According to the method, manual statistics is replaced by mode identification and computer rapid statistics, the problems that manual statistics data is not adaptive to intersection state estimation, timeliness cannot be guaranteed and the like are solved, efficiency is improved, and cost is saved. Data support can be provided for traffic state monitoring, traffic state estimation, traffic state prediction, induction type traffic control, traffic travel analysis and traffic flowrule analysis, and offline statistical traffic parameter data can also be used for land utilization and traffic facility use condition analysis.

    本发明公开了一种基于视频的交叉口区域交通参数统计方法,该方法包括:车辆检测、判断用户需求、在线交通参数统计、离线交通参数统计、信息发送和冗余信息删除五个主要阶段。本发明可以根据用户在线与离线的不同需求,提供来源于视频且基于元胞传输模型的交通参数统计数据。本发明采用模式识别和计算机快速统计代替人工统计的方法,解决人工统计数据应用于交叉口状态估计的不适应性,时效性不能保证等问题,提高了效率,节约了成本。本发明可以为交通状态监测、交通状态估计、交通状态预测、感应式交通控制、交通出行分析、交通流规律分析提供数据支撑,同时离线统计的交通参数数据也可用于土地利用、交通设施使用情况的分析。
