The carbon fiber sandwich composite material comprises an upper skin, a lower skin and a middle core material. The layer structure of each skin comprises multiple layers of carbon fiber plaincloth-(an electromagnetic shielding layer-multiple layers of carbon fiber plain cloth), wherein n is smaller than or equal to 10. The core material is a polyimide aerogel plate. According to the invention, the specific core material is selected to be matched with the skins formed by specific compounding, so the advantages of low density, good environmental adaptability and high electromagneticshielding performance are achieved under the condition of ensuring bonding force; in addition, the carbon fiber sandwich composite material has the advantages of low room-temperature heat conductivity, good mechanical properties, excellent heat stability, good in flame retardant property and the like, is an ideal material for replacing aluminum profiles for the high-speed rail bodies, and can further improve the speed and carrying capacity of a high-speed rail.
