The invention belongs to the field of automobile sunroofs, and particularly relates to a safety sunlight mechanism for an automobile. The mechanism comprises a mounting plate, an electric driving module, skylight glass, sliding pins B, sliding pins A and the like, wherein the mounting plate is mounted at the top of a carriage. When the skylight glass is in a closed state, the two sliding pins A and the two sliding pins B are respectively limited by four limiting rods, and the sliding pins A located at the bottoms of guide grooves A and the sliding pins B located at the bottoms of the guide grooves B do not shake up and down relative to the guide grooves A and the guide grooves B and are kept still in the running jolt of the automobile; and then the sliding pins A and the sliding pins B continuously pull the skylight glass downwards through a connecting plate and an L plate A correspondingly, so it is guaranteed that the skylight glass is still kept in sealing fit with a sealing gasketin a sealing groove in the skylight opening in the bumping process of the automobile.
