The invention provides a contracting brake fault diagnosis method based on a multipoint pressure sensor and belongs to the technical field of packaging shells. The contracting brake fault diagnosis method comprises the following steps: 1, obtaining first signal data; 2, training a signal prediction model; and 3, classifying first signal data. According to the contracting brake fault diagnosis method, any group of given to-be-identified brake shoe signal is input into the trained signal prediction model to extract the in-depth learning feature of a sample; through the twice training method, thegroup of signals is distinguished to be in a normal state or a fault state, so that the pressure state of a contracting brake can be known according to the classifying condition to realize real-timemonitoring of the running state of a contracting brake device.
