The invention discloses a method for deciding an additional yawing moment of a running vehicle, belongs to the field of vehicle stability control of new energy vehicles, and aims to solve the problemthat the stability is reduced due to the fact that the additional yawing moment is decided without considering road conditions at present. The method is characterized by comprising the following steps: S3.1, selecting a sliding mode surface; S3.2, determining the reaching law of the sliding mode structure; and S3.3, determining an additional yawing moment. A weighting coefficient value is judged according to the actual value of the side slip angle. According to the instability degree of a vehicle under different driving conditions of the vehicle, the sliding mode surfaces with different weights are adopted to track the control variables, and the vehicle driving stability is improved.
