The invention relates to the technical field of electronic communication, and specifically relates to a device and a method for filming the scene of an accident with the aid of a satellite and automatically alarming. The device comprises a satellite positioning device, a wireless communication device and a communication satellite. The communication satellite is connected with a camera recording module. After a vehicle has an accident, the vehicle-borne satellite positioning device is started to acquire a satellite positioning signal in a place where the vehicle is located, the signal and the user information of the accident vehicle owner are sent to the communication satellite, and the communication satellite takes a video/picture of the scene of the accident through the camera recording module, converts the video/picture into a digital signal, and sends the digital signal, a generated smooth path leading to the scene of the accident, the satellite positioning signal and the user information to the traffic department nearest to the scene of the accident. By adopting the device and the method, the problem that traffic jam can be easily caused when on-site traffic accident treatment takes a long time, and inadequate scene information collection makes comprehensive analysis difficult and the chance of misjudgment great and causes disputes easily is solved.
