The invention provides a self-adaptive cooling face area adjusting device. The self-adaptive cooling face area adjusting device comprises a memory alloy plate, a heat insulation restraint plate, a structural framework, heat insulation components and sunlight absorbing coatings. The memory alloy plate comprises a memory alloy plate non-wound part and a memory alloy plate wound part which are connected; the inner side face of the memory alloy plate non-wound part is connected to the structural framework through the heat insulation restraint plate; the free end face and the inner side face of the memory alloy plate wound part are covered with the corresponding heat insulation components; the outer side face of the memory alloy plate non-wound part and the outer side face of the memory alloy plate wound part are both covered with the sunlight absorbing coatings; and the inner side face of the memory alloy plate wound part is covered with the corresponding heat insulation component. The self-adaptive cooling face area adjusting device can be expanded and wound automatically to cooperate with a radiator high in emissivity according to the illumination intensity condition and has the beneficial effects of achieving automatic passive adjustment and being high in equivalent emissivity; and meanwhile no movement parts are arranged, no electric apparatus elements are arranged, and the beneficial effect of good reliability is also achieved.
