The invention relates to the technical field of four-wheel bicycles, in particular to a cross-country four-wheel bicycle with wheels capable of being automatically converted to vertically adapt to uneven ground. The cross-country four-wheel bicycle is characterized by comprising a frame, a converting device, the wheels, a rocker frame, a damping device, a sliding shaft, a pedal device, a direction control device and a saddle; the converting device comprises transmission shafts, a converter shell, a gear shaft, four bevel gears and an intermediate converter; one ends of the transmission shafts are fixedly arranged on the sliding shaft, and the other ends of the transmission shafts are connected with the bevel gears; the four bevel gears are arranged in an end-to-end manner, and arranged in the converter shell through the gear shaft, the transmission shafts and the intermediate converter; and the intermediate converter is a cube and is rotationally connected with the gear shaft. The cross-country four-wheel bicycle is reasonable in structure, the pressure exerted on the part between the wheels is even, damage is not likely to happen, the wheels are not prone to suspending, and the climbing capability is high.
