The invention discloses a security monitoring method and device for a building discharging platform. A weighing platform is placed on the discharging platform. The bottoms of the four corners of the weighing platform are provided with weighing sensors. The weighing sensors are connected with a display and control device, an alarm device and a wireless camera. An alarm value and a photographing value are set on the display and control device. When the load carried by the discharging platform exceeds the set alarm value, the alarm device starts an alarm prompt; when the load carried by the discharging platform exceeds the set photographing value, photographing is performed by the wireless camera, and pictures are transmitted to a remote monitor computer in a wireless mode. The weight of loads stacked on the discharging platform can be monitored at any time, visualization is achieved, the acousto-optic alarm function, the wireless transmission and photographing functions are achieved, and the supervision level of the discharging platform is effectively improved. In addition, the whole monitoring device is powered by a wind driven generator, and the advantages of energy conservation and environmental protection are achieved.
