The invention discloses a transmission mechanism of a bicycle. The transmission mechanism comprises a first pedal shaft, a middle shaft and a second pedal shaft, the first pedal shaft is fixedly connected with a first eccentric gear, a second eccentric gear and a third eccentric gear are arranged on the middle shaft, a fourth eccentric gear is arranged on the second pedal shaft, the first eccentric gear is meshed with the second eccentric gear, and the third eccentric gear is meshed with the fourth eccentric gear. The variable transmission principle of the eccentric gears is used, when a pedal connected with the first pedal shaft rotates in a work efficient region, the first eccentric gear drives the second eccentric gear to do accelerated motion, and meanwhile the third eccentric gear drives the fourth eccentric gear to do accelerated motion, so that a pedal connected to the second pedal shaft passes through a work inefficient region and a work nullity region fast, and the action efficiency of the pedals can be substantially improved.
