The invention relates to a nuclear transporting ship. A plurality of nuclear reactor types are optional for the nuclear transporting ship in domestic nuclear power station; the reactor types, such as a high temperature gas cooled reactor, a heavy water reactor, a pressurized water reactor, a fast neutron reactor and the like, can be selected to be mounted on the ship according to use requirements. First, nuclear power is converted into electric power; and then the electric power is adopted to drive and control directions and postures; therefore, the desired goals are easy to realize. The domestic ship building scale has reached a fairly high level and 360,000 tons cargo ships have been successfully built; therefore, two 360,000 tons cargo ships can be built in parallel to form a double-body ship, and then a 720,000 tons transporting ship is obtained by mounting a small-sized nuclear power station on the double-body ship. If the small-sized nuclear transporting ship is needed, the high temperature gas cooled reactor can be mounted on a ship with appropriate displacement so that the small-sized nuclear transporting ship can be built.
