The invention relates to a method of using a laser long string to direct measure a track offset coordinate. Single-beam laser track offset coordinate measurement is realized. One-time long-distance measurement and maintenance during track detection and maintenance can be realized. Especially during measurement and maintenance of a high speed turnout, all the offset quantities can be set in a one-time mode. A turnout linear type can be grasped integrally and safety of a train is increased. 100 meter to 300 meter long distance track offset coordinate measurement is realized. A relative coordinate of a laser point virtual coordinate and a physical coordinate is an offset coordinate. The relative coordinate (x2, y2) of the laser point virtual coordinate and a physical coordinate 0 point satisfies the following formulas: X2=x1-x0; Y2=y1-y0, wherein the physical coordinate 0 point (x0, y0) and the laser point virtual coordinate (x1, y1) are set under a standard coordinate system.
