The invention relates to an anti-collision method of a crane boom. When a crane and an adjacent crane work in a cabin at the same time, a PLC works out a deceleration area and a stop area in real time. When the crane and the adjacent crane move to the deceleration area, the rotating speed of the crane boom and the radius changing speed of a steel wire rope of the crane are correspondingly reduced, and the rotating speed of an adjacent crane boom and the radius changing speed of a steel wire rope of the adjacent crane boom are both correspondingly reduced. When the crane and the adjacent crane move to the stop area, the downward action and the rotation action of the crane boom stop, and the downward action and the rotation action of the adjacent crane boom stop. During operation, the work state of the adjacent crane does not need to be considered, a system can automatically judge a limit area and make the corresponding action, only the relative movement position of the two adjacent cranes is limited rather than limit the work areas of the cranes, a driver can more conveniently and flexibly perform driving, and the acting areas of the cranes are utilized to the maximum.
