The invention discloses a clamping sling used for an excircle. The clamping sling used for the excircle comprises a snap ring, wherein at least two groups of clamping devices are arranged along the circumferential direction of the snap ring at intervals, the clamping devices comprise connecting rods and friction components, the friction components are hinged to one ends of the connecting rods and can swing along the axial direction of the snap ring, the friction components are provided with friction surfaces used for close fit with the peripheral surface of a corresponding workpiece, and the other ends of the connecting rods are hinged to the snap ring. When the sling is used, the snap ring is arranged at the periphery of the workpiece in a sleeving manner, and the friction surfaces, facing the workpiece, of the friction components are attached to the periphery of the workpiece. The snap ring moves up under the action of a crane, and the friction components move down under the action of friction force between the friction components and the workpiece. As the two ends of the connecting rods are hinged, the friction components also move towards the workpiece in the process of moving down. In the lifting process, the larger the swing displacement of the friction components, the larger the friction force produced with the workpiece, so that the clamping sling can lift high-weight workpieces.
