The invention provides an independent tail rotor structure of an unmanned helicopter. The independent tail rotor structure comprises a tail tube arranged at the rear part of a helicopter body, wherein a gyroscope, a motor and an electronic speed governing device are arranged at the tail end of the tail tube; the gyroscope is horizontally arranged at the tail end of the tail tube, and is used for monitoring and sensing changes in the direction of the unmanned helicopter, that is, the gyroscope keeps the original direction when no direction command is given by a ground operator, and automatically corrects the direction immediately as long as the course of the unmanned helicopter is deflected; the electronic speed governing device is connected with the motor to govern the rotating speed of the motor; the output end of a core shaft of the motor is connected with a tail rotor; the motor of the tail rotor and a main rotor engine are independent of each other; the rotating speed of the motor can be increased or decreased to control a force generated by the tail rotor; and the blade angle of the tail rotor is invariable, namely 5 degrees to 30 degrees. According to the independent tail rotor structure, the blade angle adjustment design is abandoned, the operating mode is simplified, and the magnitude of the generated force can be controlled only by governing the rotating speed of the motor; and besides, the potential safety hazards are reduced.
