The invention provides a vehicle transmission method and mechanism of a hybrid power system. The vehicle transmission mechanism at least comprises an engine, a motor/generator, a motor, a clutch and a power transmission gear pair. The engine and the motor/generator are directly connected and are located on one side of the clutch; the motor/generator is located at the front end or the rear end of the engine; the motor, the power transmission gear pair and an inter-wheel differential are connected and are located on the other side of the clutch; the motor is located on the front end, the middle portion or the rear end of the power transmission gear pair. The advantages of a hybrid power system are maintained; on the premise that the connection between a power system and wheels is not interrupted, parts and structures such as a gear box, a starter and a small generator in a common hybrid power system can be removed, so that the system structure is simplified, the system weight is reduced and the impact in the system caused by power switching is relieved.
