The invention relates to a heavy-load lateral lift device. The device is formed by connecting a bottom frame, a power transmission mechanism and a guide mechanism. A bearing pedestal and a gear motor of the power transmission mechanism are fixedly installed on the upper surface of an installation frame in the bottom frame in a bolt connecting manner, a combined bearing installation frame of the guide mechanism is fixed to the side surface of the installation frame in the bottom frame in a pin hole positioning and bolt connecting manner, and therefore lifting motion of a lifting frame is achieved. The device operates automatically and is flexible, convenient to use, stable and reliable in lifting motion, significant in application effect and more suitable for working environments with a low space utilization ratio. Specified working requirements can be met; and besides, compared with related equipment with the same function, the manufacturing cost of the device is greatly lowered, and the device is economical, practical, capable of saving energy and efficient.
