The invention provides an anti-sway device for a car of a heavy-load cargo lift. The anti-sway device comprises two position limiter weld assemblies and an anti-sway plate; the two position limiter weld assembly are two bending plates; a reinforcing rib is welded to each bending plate in a fillet manner; the two position limiter weld assemblies are symmetrically arranged at two sides of a car frame side beam; rubber pads are respectively bonded onto the two bending plates contacted with the car frame side beam to play a role of buffering; the position limiter weld assemblies are located on a car roof; the anti-sway plate is arranged between the two position limiter weld assemblies and the car roof; mounting holes are respectively formed in each bending plate and the anti-sway plate; when on-site assembly is performed, distance is adjusted to be proper, so that the distance between the two bending plates is equal to the width of the steel channel of the car frame side beam; then, the two bending plates are connected and positioned with the circular holes in the car roof through bolts; the anti-sway device is fixedly arranged on the car frame side beam; the position limiter weld assemblies and the anti-sway plate are welded firm, and therefore a hindering effect is exerted on the sway of the car; the car is kept at a balance position, so the comfort is enhanced, and the service life of the car is prolonged.
