Disclosed is a synchronous head sheave balance adjustment method for a multi-rope winding type elevator. When the multi-rope winding type elevator works, a container is elevated by two steel wire ropes through head sheave bodies. In the elevating process of the container, when the force applied to the steel wire rope winding around a head sheave on a hydraulic cylinder is larger, the corresponding head sheave body is downwards compressed through the first hydraulic cylinder, so that the force is reduced, and meanwhile, the steel wire rope is loosened for adjustment to a force balance with the steel wire rope on the other side. When the force applied to the other steel wire rope is larger, the corresponding head sheave body 1 is compressed downwards through the second hydraulic cylinder, so that the force is reduced, and meanwhile, the steel wire rope is loosened. When the force applied to the two head sheave bodies is unbalanced, pressure compensation is generated to the hydraulic cylinders; when the first hydraulic cylinder is compressed, hydraulic pressure pressurizes the second hydraulic cylinder for a balance through a communication device, so that the pressure balance of the second hydraulic cylinder and the first hydraulic cylinder is achieved after pressurization; the tension of the steel wire ropes of the multi-rope winding type elevator can be balanced and compensation can be conducted for non-synchronization flexibly and conveniently.
