The invention relates to a heating device, and particularly relates to a heating device for paint removal and applicable to a ship, and further relates to a paint removal method for a ship. The invention provides a heating device for ship paint removal. The heating device for ship paint removal comprises a high-frequency induction coil, wherein the high-frequency induction coil is arranged on a shaft and connected with a high-frequency transformer, and the high-frequency transformer is connected with a cooling system. The invention further provides a ship paint removal method of the heating device for ship paint removal. The ship paint removal method comprises the following steps: step 1, supplying power to a water chiller by a high-frequency power supply, and charging cooling water in a water-cooling coaxial cable; step 2, arranging the high-frequency induction coil on a steel plate to be subjected to paint removal; and step 3, starting a high-frequency current, and slowly moving the heating device. Because the bonding strength between a coating and one steel plate of ship hulls is broken by carrying out ultra-high-frequency induction heating on the steel plates of ship hulls and naval vessels, the coating is easy to shovel off by an iron shovel, thus reducing the labour intensity, increasing the working efficiency, reducing the energy consumption, and avoiding environmental pollution.
