The invention discloses an external mounting type compensation air charging brake device for carriages, and relates to the field of carriage brake quickly releasing devices. The external mounting type compensation air charging brake device is characterized in that two locomotive air compressors are connected in parallel; the locomotive air compressors are connected with a main air reservoir; the main air reservoir is connected with series of control gears; the series of control gears are connected with main brake pipes; the main brake pipes are connected through flexible brake hoses at the connection parts of the carriages; the main air reservoir is arranged under the bottom of the locomotive body; an application reservoir, an auxiliary reservoir and a brake cylinder are all arranged under the bottom of each carriage body; the air compressors outputting pressure stably are externally mounted at the bottoms of the carriages through air compressor hanging brackets, and are connected with air compressor branch pipes; the air compressor branch pipes are connected with the main brake pipes; a distribution valve or a control valve is connected with each brake cylinder through a brake cylinder pipe. The carriage brake device has the characteristics of being quick in releasing speed and high in security.
